Terms of use
Clear expectations. From the start.
These terms cover use of our website. Equipment collection and other project services have their own written agreement.
Effective October 19, 2026
About this website
Bay State Asset Recovery is an independently operated business serving Greater Boston and Eastern Massachusetts. In these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the business operating under that name. This website provides service information and accepts business IT project inquiries. It is not a customer portal, an automatic booking system, or a public residential drop-off service.
Quote requests and service agreements
Submitting the form asks us to assess your project and provide a response. It does not book a collection, transfer ownership of equipment, authorize access to systems, or create a service contract. Before work begins, a separate written agreement sets out the services, equipment accepted, data handling methods, reporting, charges, payment terms, responsibilities, and schedule.
Equipment value and eligibility
Complimentary pickup, buyback, revenue sharing, resale value, and acceptance of particular equipment are subject to review. Eligibility and financial terms depend on equipment age, condition, specifications, quantity, location, recoverable value, and work required. No universal free pickup or guaranteed recovery value is offered.
Technical and compliance information
Service descriptions explain the work we offer. The available methods and deliverables for your equipment are specified in the project agreement. References to NIST guidance do not constitute a certification. We do not claim independently audited controls or R2, NAID AAA, SOC 2, ISO, or HIPAA certification. General information on this website is not a guarantee that a service meets your organization’s particular obligations.
Your responsibilities
Provide accurate project information and confirm that you have authority over equipment proposed for collection. Keep credentials, sensitive personal data, patient information, and confidential asset manifests out of the website form. Backup, shutdown, disconnection, data handling, and transfer responsibilities are set out in the project agreement.
Acceptable website use
Use the website for lawful inquiries and information. Do not disrupt it, bypass its security or request limits, submit unlawful or deliberately misleading content, distribute malicious code, or try to access information without authorization. We may restrict requests that interfere with safe and reliable operation.
Website content
The Bay State Asset Recovery name, logo, and original website content belong to the business. Other materials are used under their respective licenses. You may view the website and share links to it. Copying or republishing material for commercial use requires permission unless the law or the material’s license allows it.
Information and availability
We aim to keep website information accurate, but services, availability, and equipment eligibility can change. Equipment estimates may depend on inspection and current market demand. Please rely on the written proposal for the work and commercial terms offered to you. Website content is general information and is not legal or regulatory advice. The website may be unavailable during maintenance or due to events outside our control. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Privacy and questions
Our privacy policy explains how we handle website inquiries and essential form security. Use the contact form for questions about these terms, the website, or a project.
Changes to these terms
We may update these website terms as the business or website changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Changes to website terms do not replace a separate project agreement.
